Introduction
To produce a quality product, in line with prescribed specifications by ensuring the efficient run-ability of the entire paper machine, including stock preparation and all related processes.
Job description
•Operation of stock preparation, approach flow, wet end, chemical kitchen, dryer section and rewinder
operation.
•Machine and process monitoring, fault identification, troubleshooting and reporting to the Team Leader.
•Assist with troubleshooting during periods of poor run-ability at stock preparation and across the paper
machine
•Conduct 5 why together with the Team Leader.
•Ensuring the good hygiene on the machine at all times.
•Ensuring adherence to safety, housekeeping, environmental and quality regulations.
Minimum requirements
•Matric with a pass in Mathematics and Physical Science.
•Preferably with technical Diploma or B-Tech.
•3 years’ experience in the full Paper Manufacturing Process.
•Valid crane license required.
•Basic technical, electrical and mechanical understanding and competency.
•Understanding of 5S methodology and RCA analysis.
•Knowledge of OHSA and ISO standards required
