Introduction
To plan, coordinate and schedule maintenance activities related to all plant equipment using extensive knowledge of maintenance best practises.
Job description
• To maintain all plant equipment within the CMMS and to ensure that all work is scheduled through
the CMMS.
• Ensuring that Planned Maintenance is professionally performed as per the company standard
practice.
• Generating, developing and reporting on work schedules within the CMMS in terms of corrective,
preventative, predictive and planned maintenance.
• Auditing systems to ensure that repair schedules and performance expectations are met. This
includes maintenance and production resources, materials, spares, documents, work orders and the
necessary approvals to perform work as planned.
• Ensuring that all labour hours, work instructions, materials, feedback and follow-up work orders
are accurately recorded within the CMMS and loop closure occurs timeously.
• Plan all activities associated with planned and unplanned plant outages to provide for maximum
use of available resources.
Minimum requirements
• Technical qualification in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years post trade experience, with at least 5 years of maintenance planning in a Paper
Manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Computer skills in Ms Office, Ms Projects, and ERP (JDE) systems knowledge.
